I find really funny how the new 13" Retina MacBook Pro with Touch Bar costs more than my BTO 15" MacBook Pro (hi-res anti-glare) did back in 2010.

    Inflation?
£1500 today is worth as much as £1240 in 2010:

Apple generally are still built to order, still, and they're all high resolution, and you don't get much better glare reduction than 67% brighter than the last generation...

But reading about it, damn, my 2015 13" mbp is going to be the only mac I buy, I don't want even less of the keys I need!

Surface book next I guess :-)

@ThomasRedstone same boat here. When my 2010 MBP goes kaput I'm probably looking at an XPS :(

    Either that or a refurb.

Still got at least a couple years left in it though methinks, the 2010 series were really well made!

@ThomasRedstone I replaced my dying 2010 MBP (15" hi-res anti-glare, i5 1st gen 2.4GHz, 8GB DDR3, 120GB SSD SATAII - but suffering of GPU switching issues) for a ThinkPad 13 (type 20GJ, 13" IPS FHD, i5 6200U, 16GB DDR4, 256GB mSATA). It's slimmer, smaller, faster and has a keyboard that is as good or even better than the one in the MBP plus the battery life is really good for its price. I don't regret switching!
