iiii92264yI agree. Servers are vastly different. Amsterdam server is much faster than German ones. the difference is huge: one server shows 10, and another shows 70

@Linux Fair enough and awesome! I hope I can setup the server today, do I need to setup a domain myself?
-
@Linux Alright, deployed and working! Although I will wait until tomorrow with giving the domain since I'm tired as fuck and will have to review security stuff tomorrow and do some scanning and pentests to make sure it's secure enough!

@Linux Nah . I think the apis only calles for uk regions mostly when the client side has high latency
-
@Linux Alright, got one setup. Can I email you the domain/link so you can check if all is good? (tor relay running as well)

I love how "No Java" is classified as a good thing, but a corporate-owned database (MySQL) is the DB of the first choice :) And still I fail to see what's wrong with java as a backend...
And what's wrong with websockets? Are they bad because curl doesn't support them, or...? I wonder what's the reasoning behind it.
Apart from that - great project! -
@Linux
Referring to this:
## Server requirements
<...>
* MySQL database to store test results (optional, PostgreSQL and SQLite also supported)

@Linux Ey! For the record, just working on the network monitoring, when that's done I'll email you the domain!
Also; my tor relay is already at a near constant 2,5mbs throughput, hoping to reach at least 1tb a day within a few weeks! -
@Linux Getting a connection refused error when emailing admin-at-social.linux.pizza, any idea?
Speedtest? No check out librespeed!
