@stimulate the hardware looks amazing, the software is amazing (I wouldn't be so productive without my Mac <3 I hate windows), everything works fine, everything works together, I still hate Microsoft/windows, I can afford it without any problems (else I wouldn't buy it), moving any kind of data to my devices is easy af, you get used to the iOS restrictions but I still prefer jailbreak, and I will if 10.2 is jailbreakable, btw, I'm also a Google fanboy and like Nexus and one plus as well (not the pixel) and I hate windows

The data transfer is only seamless if EVERYTHING is apple. All apple has against Windows is a better Hardware design. Everything else is worse and it's also more expensive which is a contra point no matter how much money you have. I personally don't respect this kind of decision because it seems premature and decadent

@stimulate I know that you think your opinion is the only one that CAN be right, but it is not, else apple wouldn't be the strongest company ww. Don't think that every apple fan is stupid :D
I actually ONLY use apple devices, I wouldn't use Windows ever again, I just love MacOS too much, you should try it before starting an argument with someone, it's just so easy, clean, everything works better, faster (yes, I'm not a gamer).
It is more expensive and it is a contra point (and it has much more Contras like expandability, planned obsolescence, ...) but still everyone is buying it, MacBooks are very good, that's just fact. I don't say that iPhones are the best, I really like Android though...
I don't think it's premature, I really like apple products and I will continue to buy new products.
In my opinion its more premature to just hate and don't tolerate, just accept it and don't buy it, you can't change it

I judge people who buy apple because I think it is stupid to spend 700€ on a phone. You act like Regular Computer systems using Windows and Android are just the other choice of two equal ones and everybody has his preference, but that's not how it is. Apple expects you to pay 4 times as much for the same thing and people like you are supporting this kind of economic diarrhea. A company like this does not have to improve anymore, they just have to keep feeding the mouths of their fanboys. It is irresponsible waste of money and hurts the economic machine.

@stimulate Apple improves very well but haters will never notice. They create new stuff, really new, 3d+force touch, touch bar, trackpad is the best one ever built, new home button, the batteries r rly good, the display, the pure quality. And if apple does something new the devs USE it, like touch bar + id, not like some MSoft devices with finger print scanners and no 3rd party application uses it.
watch some compare videos with Samsung, apple has lower nmbrs on paper but is better everywh., Samsung and MS are like script kiddies, can't code performant, have to increase ram, CPU, MP.
You think you pay too much for apple and Android + Win. are cheaper but think forward. My other devices lost so much of value, my apple devices can still be sold for much, ask urself which one really is more expensive, when ur Samsg. loses 60% after a few years, apple dev. like 30% and can't drop anymore, cause the demand increases.
I bet I can sell my iPhone4 jun10 for the double price of my Nexus4 nov12

The products are good quality, what is the least that you can expect for the price. But you will never "have a device from apple" or a "device that uses apple" - you will always have an "apple device" you are limited and restricted to their ideology and opinions about how you should work with you stuff and for you this might be okay, because you can afford it, but it is still expensive and there are definitely more thoughtful places to put your money than wireless earplugs which you must buy because you bought that new iphone. Oh you like over ear headphones? Well you can buy the wireless beats for eeer... 300€. The MacBook air does not have a disk reader, so you need an external one...
It's just not functional and wasteful because they try to be innovative.
But never mind, I see I can't change you and I am certain you can't change my opinion about this. Sorry for insulting you but I just don't get it.

@stimulate I can do much stuff on my apple devices, maybe your arguments are for devices few years ago, that's not anymore, I don't have to do what apple wants, I love customisation, my devices are very customised. My stock iPhone can't do stuff like Tasker on Android, but with JB 👍
Laptops shouldn't have CD drives, that's deprecated and bulky. If I need it once in two years I have a cheap 3rd party drive, that's fine, can't remember when I needed it last time. I hate beats, I tweaky like the AirPods because of the w1 chip and the sensors, you put it off it pauses, put it on and it plays, for me that's a step to the future. I find it more wasteful if you have CD drives on laptops and you never use it and this on every new laptop. I have an external one, will never replace it and maybe never ever use it but I have it in case :D
Don't be sorry, nice to argue with you without someone getting pissed off and insulting 👍 would literally be impossible in the YouTube comment section :D

@stimulate not true you can format a drive to ntfs on a Mac and exFAT and FAT
Granted Linux makes this even easier.
Mac OS is great because it can do everything my Linux machines can do plus run enterprise software native with no monkeying around. The pro also has hardware all around. Worth the cost of entry I use mine solely for work so it's paid for itself 100 times over.

I'm a fanboy too. I believe what we do in the dark should remain in the dark. God gave us choice and we should embrace it.

@FirePanther I'm very easy with this kinda stuff, you just do what you like and buy what you want to buy! In my personal opinion about apple though, I (nothing personally) just hope I'll never have to sit near you for too long, or, near your apple stuff. Solely because since Edward snowden publicly said that apple products contain NSA thingys and I'd rather not sit close to products which could contain backdoors but aren't verifiable. But hey, keep using whatever you like :)
  • 1
@linuxxx lol, Google is much worse :D Google products are cheap or for free because you are the product. Can you say the same about apple?
  • 1
@FirePanther They are known to record locations of every iMessage sent (ip addresses) and a lot more stuff Not trying to start a war! Besides that, Google isn't much better. They actively sell user data pretty much. I use open source ROMs, no Google services except for the play store (no good app stores otherwise) and mostly lock down my phone entirely with app ops and a firewall. I'm not saying that Google is better, I think they are equally bad. They're both in the NSA PRISM program and that's pretty bad tbh but hey, I'm a pretty paranoid person haha. Again, I don't want to start a war or anything!

I own a Nexus 5x, best phone I ever had.
I cannot say the same thing of iPhones.

Tried lots of laptop but nothing gets closer to MBP 13"
    Just saying.

I bet you, find a laptop with a better battery, a better trackpad, a better display and a better portability.

As for my $0.02, I also personally despise anything Microsoft and am particularly cautious with other big companies like google.

I love Apple because of their commitment to the privacy of their users and the wonderful design of their products. I acknowledge that other operating systems are better for certain things (I.e. Windows for gaming), but I don't mind paying the extra money for products that don't track you, are well designed, are powerful enough for my needs and last a long time, even when the software is out of date.
