In my country (too embarrassing to mention), pirated software is so common and it is not considered immoral. It is widespread and secretly & socially accepted. The law cannot be enforced when everyone is an offender. There's no profit of being an angel in the land of the devils. I, myself too, am guilty of this.

There are some softwares that are just too overpriced.

Thankfully, for OSX at least, there's some great software emerging, that's pro and affordable and challenges the adobe behemoth. Never liked the term 'industry standard'. New doors are opening from the smaller houses that is frankly superior in many ways.

...and i think there is only 1 original windows 7 in Poland, but I think it may have been smuggled in from Germany. Nobody ever buys films or music in eastern bloc countries.. ever.

My family and friends think I'm crazy for buying software, games and apps. But when you are a developer, you truly appreciate the work that goes into these projects.

Also, pirating software can have unintended consequences. If you've ever pirated Batman Arkham Asylum, you know exactly what I'm on about xD
