@leviathan07 xD I just wanted to fill out all my laptop's accessible RAM slots and saw that two sticks of 8GB RAM are not that expensive as I thought. The highest I got was at around 16 GB of used RAM.

@Gianlu I actually can't, unless I remove the keyboard (laptop came with 1 stick of 8GB, two of them are underneath the keyboard, the rest are accessible through the back)

@Mayhem93 wat exactly did u run to eat up 16 GB? I'm curious

@leviathan07 GTA V in the background, a lot of programs that I could find on my start menu (including Adobe Photoshop), chrome with some tabs open (not a lot, under 10), and what you see in the picture

@Mayhem93 yea sure chrome seems like a little kid, don't go picking up fights with little kids now

Chrome is like a soft copy Dracula. Sucks all the ram till you are left with nothing. Then writes that shit to hard-disk so that your HDD usage is 100% , and then when you switch Tab it reads again and dump some more useless shit in ram. Ducking piece of shit browser. Even edge seems better now.

That's how the guy that had 4gb of RAM felt 10 years ago.

Just give it time and it will beat you.

@g1abhi unless your profile is also in ram then it just frees it. Tricky part is writing the profile back to disk at appropriate intervals and of course keeping a backup. I went from thousands of writes per minute with Chrome to essentially one per session, or about once per two hours if it's left open.

It's actually not bad on mine, unfortunately my favorite Firefox is going through some tough times with managing itself. Android more than anything.. kills the battery while chrome seems to repower on solar energy or something
