I'm kind of surprised people haven't tried using devRant as a job board yet. There's a lot of raw talent here, both seniors, and juniors experimenting with everything.

Do we really want recruiters shitting up the place? At the very least, it will have a chilling effect on rants. You won't be at liberty to rant if this place becomes a job board. I don't want to see DevRant become as insipid and anodyne as linkedin. Say goodbye to rants, say hello to unconvincing praise of whoever your current %EMPLOYER% is.

And ping pong? Really? Give me a break. Are shitty gimmicks really the best your place of employment has to offer? Grow up.

@QoolQuy2000, you do realise the last part is a joke, right? Basically playing on the fact that every other startup puts "we have ping pong" on their ads.

The voting system surpresses job listings (if you see any, feel free to mark them as spam). But in the future we may create a seperate section that would keep those completely seperate from rants

@trogus, awesome (the part about filtering). Glad that everything works well. I've seen a few of these "clever" systems implemented but not get much, coverage over it
