I just shut my laptop down by mistake using the keyboard shortcut for shutdown instead of suspend. It's has not been shutdown for weeks and I had many projects open.

If only there was a system which prevents that by asking to confim unsaved changes. Oh wait there is. And this mecanic is actually patented.

I always saw it as annoying until a day it saved me 2H of work. Now I don't find it annoying anymore.

@rantsauce on my own machine i have a few scripts for most used workflows, that opens all necessary programs and tools. Investing a few minutes in that will save you a lot of time in general.

    Kinda similar to code snippets.

For example launching fl.sh launches FL Studio, sets the keyboard lighting, connects to NAS, opens the sample database location and routes the audio output to my headphones.
