Discord is fast becoming Reddit. I went through this phase too and joined a bunch of potentially interesting servers based on hobbies I liked, but they all eventually turned more than a tad toxic. I'm too old to put up with that BS, so these days it's just a few servers with people I know, plus the "other" devrant one where nobody talks - it's a peaceful place 😅

@AlmondSauce I like that server! The cool kids might have moved on, but I still check it out often.

@NoMad You shouldn't really need to. If you have to use mod tools extensively, it's already a sign of failure in my book.

The nicest server I've found so far is WorldAnvil's, but you need to buy their software to get access (highly recommend if you're into worldbuilding/writing). But it's a pretty chill and interesting community and I guess the paid access keeps it safe. I don't use it anymore so I can't go there anymore, but it was a cool place to hang out.
