Congrats! Becoming a parent is singlehandedly the best and worst thing that will ever happen to you.

You will constantly be worried that your actions have fucked up your kid and simultaneously be enchanted by their unconditional love for you.

Cherish the times you have with them because you will wake up one day wondering why they won't snuggle up in a blanket with you on movie night any more.

Be patient, and if you have any concerns about developmental challenges(such as autism or ADHD) you should get them tested as early as possible to take advantage of programs available in your area.
