First "rant"...

There's a lot of complaints about Windows 10 and it's updates and everyone bashing them.
Does nobody turn off their computer at night?

It installs my updates during the night for me and it even wakes up if needed to do so. I have never looked at my update screen when rebooting or turning my computer on, ever since I have Windows 10 freshly installed... Only exception is the Anniversary Update. So I don't see a reason why everyone hates it so much...

Am I just that lucky or what?

@azuredivay I have nothing aginst linux, But windows is much better for me, using Intellij IDEA :P has more general support as it is more popular. I do love an ubuntu server when I'm doing something server side..

Well, I don't actually complain about automatic updates that much.
But the last windows update decided that it was OK to just reboot my computer while I was cooking dinner.
Twenty minutes away is not the same as "not using it".

That is a part I am not ok with.

    Good rant.

@azuredivay tbh I see a lot of those kinda comments. Although there too badly are some of those Linux people, I also dislike it when someone bashes Linux peoples in general. Can we just stop making fun of each other? 😀

Sometimes I don't understand those people, if you complain about windows updates you just turn them off right? and do it manually.

I don't turn off my computer. I always put it to hibernate. Sometimes after I put it to hibernate, it starts up on its own, installs updates. But never turns off!! My laptop ends up running the whole night. That really pisses me off!

Just saying. I have nothing against Windows. In fact I'm a widows developer myself

I usually shut my laptop off at night but occasionally I leave it up because there was something I was working on and I didn't want to lose my place. And those are the times Windows does automatic updates and I end up spending a bunch of time getting back to the line of code I was on and going through my web history to get the tabs I had open.
