I'm confused. How can someone walk "into" a wood? Typo. If you meant woods then I'd say till the middle.

"The wood" can refer to a specific wooded area, i.e. The Hundred-acre Wood.

Anyway, to answer: To a point equidistant from the two or more closest exits. In other words, the radius of the wood.

Well I have to say if I got this question in an interview I'd ask for more info. Not enough context to be able to give an answer that really means anything.

Addendum: two points closest to you, but farthest from each other.

Until you get to the middle... After that you're walking out.

I think questions like this highlight everything that's wrong with the dev interview process. You may be able to get these questions right, the question doesn't tell anything about how good a teammate one might be, how well their interpersonal skills are developed, or any number of other really important factors to consider in a new hire.
