Is it good to be a Linux Administrator, what are good and bad aspect of it and what is future scope so that i can answer myself where do i see myself in 5 years 😂

Currently working at GoDaddy as Hosting tech lead..

    If you can automate and plan ahead wisely, it is a good job. If not, it is hell.

    But as with all professions, it also depends a lot on where you work.

    Godaddy is complete and utter shit.

    Finally moved everything I had away from them.

    But a job is a job I guess.

    System administrator can be anyone.

    I know system administrators where the insult "potato" would actually discriminate against potatoes...

    E.g. people building server rooms in the hottest area of the office (direct sun in the summer, glass building) right next to a large room full off call center agents in a room with only one window which cannot be opened.

    Short story: in summer regularly the server room went down ... Quite literally cooked and steamed.

    If you work on yourself, improve yourself and try to not be a potato, yes. Good idea.

    Was one of our customers in a previous company. Yes, it hurt me physically, too.
