I'm a 16 yrs old student, learning to be a software developer. I have successes, but I can't share with anyone. My parents don't understand what am I doing, my classmates neither. Literally nobody. Maybe 1 or 2 people. Can I share with you, dear devRant community? Or I shouldn't share, 'couse it's not a rant?

You don't have to seek permission. Just say it. I also have been through similar phase in life.

This isn't stack overflow, you can do anything from asking how to make an origami platypus to making an AI. Welcome by the way!

Dude, I'm 31, outside of my office building nobody knows what the fuck I am talking about. It is a common misconception that developer === human, we are a species on our own, speaking a langue(s) one we know and to ensure nobody ever cracks the code, we change every few weeks and throw in a new framework with slightly different syntax just to root out the week and unworthy.

Im 26. When my girlfriend asks me what I spent my day on during the daily pickup I go "The same thing we do every night, Pinky" — cause I spent the whole car ride on a blank stare the last time I tried explaining.

I had the same until I showed my father all my old and my new projects. He was impressed. It was not to show off only to let him know that I actually do something with prgramming. You should do it too.
