Uber no doubt. Compared to IBM, I'd choose Uber despite the fact that there's a lot of bad reputation around it.

Will not know until I get an actual offer on the paper. Even then, I will be able to switch roles at both companies. -
I’d probably want to get that bit about being able to switch teams down on paper too but who am I kidding, they’re not gonna commit to giving the employee that kind of power.
So instead I’ll just say, as always: Enjoy the money! -
iiii92193yIBM. Even if it is not that good, it is better than Uber which is just a crazy inflated startup that earns no money and puts legit taxi services out of business.

Don't know about Uber, but at IBM it is in you contract that everything you develop is their property, also anything you develop in your spare time.
I know this used to be common practice in the industry, but IBM still does it. -

Alrighty, I’m going to ask them this next time and I’ll reply to you then. Really hope you’re fucking with me or this only applies to certain teams or locations. -
@yehaaw I've actually heard about something similar, not at IBM, but at another huge company.
"The code you write in your free time COULD be influenced by our source code. Therefore, it is ours." -
@swagnette Mind boggling...
They basically own your thought process while you're employed there. WTF -
favoretti343yTake the one that has work that you think will be most fun. Big name or small name - if you’re not waking up motivated - you’re doing it for the wrong reasons.

Non of them did, which is sad, because I was LCing for days to be prepared for the interviews 🙃
Both companies gave me software architecture questions (scalability was the most important thing) and general coding assignment. Nothing fancy.
