@billgates anything can happen. They can also skip 9 and go straight to 10. Just saying.

Idk why people are whining about this. They've not done anything shocking here, merely using proper semver, with a release schedule for majors (every 6 months).

Going from 2 to 4 was done to sync everything on one major version (router was on 3, as version 2 was deprecated and rewritten).

don't forget to skip some numbers!
