@dikiaap it uses the same engine and code (nearly) as chrome. I use it as well next to Firefox though (not chrome because fuck Google) and it works alright

Even on ubuntu at my work place, Google Chrome crashes my PC. Esp when using Dev tools and selectcing color. Even after having 8 GB RAM!!

I had only using 5 - 8 tabs open.

Nowadays chrome needs new ram stick for every tab you open, it is fucking ridiculous how stupidly unoptimised it is.

I take a giant shit on chrome and use Firefox. It reminds me of Pokemon and has a pretty cool interface too.

@dontbeevil Windows started using telemetry with Windows 7, but didn't actively collect any data until Windows 10. Then they patched the whole data collection into 7&8 disguised as updates which you can (thankfully) uninstall. Windows 10's data collection is far beyond "necessary" to operate apps and programs, not to mention that it's not only limited to telemetry. It would be only half as bad if MS gave you an option to disable the data collection all together, but that's so impossible you will actually cripple the system if you attempt to disable all collection related options. Additionally MS has been very vague about what data is actually collected and what is sent to MS in addition to agreements with third parties on sharing data.

At least FB and Google limit their collection to internet related things and not my entire device activity (unless we're including Android).

You can take a giant shit on chrome on ya want, but if your in web dev u still gotta deal with it. It's not going anywhere. And 4gb or even 8gb and your a developer? If your working for a company, that company sucks balls. If that's your personal...get a real machine. If your machine is hosed by 5 - 8 tabs being opened ( whatever the browser ), you got bigger problems than a fucking browser.

Yeah, they seem to work on lots of features, but they don't believe in optimization apparently

chrome is so flucking annoying .. have to chase it around my system 32 and root folders just to get it deleted after it snuck its way onto my system in the first place ... what a bunch of losers , is this the only way they can get people to download it ? shame shame , it should have died along side google plus

I hate chrome on principal. I'm a gamer i stream to twitch and chrome doesnt work well when i stream. I one of the very few i know that just hates chrome because fuck chrome i use opera and firefox opera comes with a native vpn and firefox blocks ads on youtube so yeah just fuck chrome they didnt need to make it
