They did not fire me, right?
They just took over another complainy?
To reduce competition by power and then...
They give you half a years of paycheck to leave...

Is this, how we do business?

Should I accept this offer or more pls comment I devored 3 years here.

if you don’t have any mortgages or financial problems, you’re young have at least 2 years experience and you’re on north side of planet take money and leave cause it’s spring and summer is slowly approaching, great weather to take a break, you can easily find new job in August / September when people got back from vacations and needed help to finish projects before end of year. Spend this money and time on yourself to have some fun, learn something new, slow down and think about future, spend summer meeting new people and partying and maybe it would lead you to new places. If you like to travel go visit other countries if you don’t have much money you can couch surfing or sleep in car, experience the world around you. Work is not everything. You can easily say you spent this time to learn how to play a guitar or whatsoever you want. Time is more important than money.

Just don’t feel sorry for yourself for more than 1-2 weeks, yeah sure do it right after you leave but make a clear line to do something with this time, like I wrote before experience world around you or learn something new.

Six months pay? Dude, take it. Recruiters will be lining up around the block to to whatever nasty thing it takes for you to interview at xyz company. I got laid off a few months ago , interviewed and got an offer 3 days later. Unless you have no working experience or generally just suck, you can count on being easily employable.

@wackOverflow well, they fucked me since October, not really six months nor the promised promotion promise...

I dunno, this makes me not wanna dev anymore with fake promises and such. What can you rely on besides your hard work?

    It's just a shame I guess.

That is one of the benefits of working for non-tiny companies - sometimes they get aquired for their IP and you get money for _not_ doing anything for them...

Lucky bastard! Shut up and take the money!

My advice would be to take the money, book yourself a holiday somewhere not OTT expensive but sunny and nice, upload your CV the day after you get home. Your company did well enough to get bought, you have a nice bit of money in the bank, go forth and find your next good thing.
