Docker never worked for me on windows
the service never starts
tried version 3 and 4 on 2 different machines

    Simple solution don't use windows for docker😃

    @jonas-w yeah the homelab has been rotting away. I'm not shocked the cert expired, but it should point to guthub pages.

    Maybe in 5 years I'll have time to investigate. Or when I look for work next, lol

    Docker for Windows (DFW) is not only terrible, but it's a sin against the community that built up docker.

    If you're using it for work, you should definitely read up the license details. Not the same for docker on Linux though, because it's the actual Docker service that runs the show.

    There's actually some devs that are trying to write a replacement to DFW that won't be stuck on license fees for enterprise users.

    Also, DFW can also stand for -- Don't Fuckin Work.
