I use Manjaro now. Can I say I use arch?

No. Why would you deliberately magnetize this negativity surrounding the phrase "I use Arch, BTW"?

Added benefit: it's still mostly Arch when you look up how to do stuff, and you don't need to settle with arch-aic updates 😎

Using Manjaro is like putting bandaid on someone then calling yourself a doctor…

No, unless you built arch from source, installed it on bare metal and made the fucker work while downing your 4th bottle of bourbon, then and only then can we say you use Arch!

@connormon my first was in my single digit years, I don't take no as an excuse.

@aviophile of course it's that easy. The marketing department of gray beards just hype it up more.
