I used to have this habit of developing with questionable placeholder content.

console.log("boobs").

why the fuck am I still waiting for your fucking content, dave
.

One slips through, eventually.

Now it's all boring lorem ipsums and stock photos of smiling managers shaking hands...

    Oh damn... happened to me once...
    die("shit");
    forgot to remove and it went live
    I'm so glad, the other devs didn't tell the boss it was me

    I don't quite get what's wrong with this. I always use things like "we have liftoff" or "houston we have a problem" in my logs. It actually makes my day better when I debug apllications with funny logs. This industry needs to chill out a bit!

    What's wrong with good ol' LIpsum?

    @redstonetehnik don't get me wrong, ipsum is great and all, but it's boring :))

    @allencage It's a problem when really rude/nsfw things get pushed to production or make their way into a presentation/investor meeting. ;)

    @bittersweet I agree to some extent, let's remember that managers are also people. It's true that they usually have more money but, sometimes they need to chill a little...

    When I have to use image placeholder, it's a always a cat!

    Ps, you ranted about gravedigging posts, didn't you? :-D
