There should be a limit on how many JS frameworks are allowed to exist at any time!

Well, everyday a new framework dies too, which makes room for new ones.... The limit is here, but it's too damn high.

I lost myself on JS frameworks since learning to learn angular 1.0 itself. jQuery was my last foray into JS frameworks. Most of JS frameworks look as if from Mars today to me. BTW I'm a plain old Java developer

Why is it bad with a lot of frameworks and tools? In business it's considered good with competition - it forces manufacturers to make better products. So why is it so bad with a lot of options?

It is bad for developers when there is less community support less documentation and less upgrades. I faced it while I was using Tapestry UI Framework which was a pretty small close knit community and had less documentation and support but the business use case in my office forced me into it.
