I always see job posts for:
• ASP.NET
• Wordpress
• PHP & mySQL

Would you consider applying for these when you don't like these technologies? Why? I need your advice & wisdom guys. Thank you so much!

If you have worked with them, and still don't like them, the only reason to apply if there are no better options. If you haven't, you should play with them to see if you can begin to like them. But working with stuff you don't like is generally discouraged. ;)

Personally i can tolerate crappy tools if the problems i get to solve are interesting enough but i would never take a full time job at a company that uses PHP or Wordpress (Been there, done that it isn't fun, currently I have a client requiring me to work with that shit from time to time (but i also get to work with python, go, lua and C# so its tolerable) since they can't find anyone who is competent and wants to touch that crap)
