Does anyone actually rely on voice assistants? I.e. would they be missed if they went away? I’m leaving out cases where they are absolutely necessary for accessibility purposes.

Yes. I use it a lot during driving for music controls and calls.

It’s nice to have something to ask the weather quickly too!

Never used one. But it would be nice to have a FOSS and GPT-leveled one running local on my PC.

Kind of feel insecure, always listening to me

1. I found it is convenient to set reminders and timers without task switching much.

2. It never understands what I'm saying.

3. Features are underwhelming.

4. Using it in front of others makes me feel like a pretentious dick.
