essuraj4607y@Artemix after using visual studio and other editor, I find it very troubling doing java development in Eclipse. It just doesn't update typing info quick enough and confuses you to recheck the whole code.. and the fix would be clean and rebuild ..😡

But i love eclipse.... Sure it's a bit greedy on the memory consumption but it actually gets stuff done. Depending on the size of the project you can adjust its xmx amount to use. Funny thing is , I use it for puppet development, latex, python, c++... All except java! :-D

@Artemix true point, but I used it fro Android development and it drove me crazy :/

essuraj4607y@Artemix true, but different perspectives need to be taken into consideration before judging .... Else that can be ignorant too.. don't you agree.???

fives10427yMy early Java education was tutored in Eclipse, it functions great with the FX/Scenebuilder and Swing libraries. So I kept using it
Given I'd rather Android Studio for mobile dev, I find the differences between other Java IDEs trivial.
