    @bdhobare they should have said what you just said. Instead they said, "you MUST..." instead of "it's good to..... but not required". I hope a beginner doesn't give up upon seeing this.

    1. Program something in Java
    2. Compile it with a native java compiler (ex. gcj)
    3. Decompile it with a C++ compiler
    4. Show them that code and say you know C++
