They do get attracted towards certain types of people. Not sure if it's sweat that decides that.

My dad has some weird chemical body makeup. Mosquitos would not bite him. Some people thought it was because he drank a lot of alcohol. There is even a legend of one mosquito that bit my dad and just died on the spot.
He also claimed he was from Zorpia. -
I could probably look this up, I college, a chemistry teacher told us being overweight and eating bananas can make you a magnet for mosquitos. In hot weather, fat people sweat more (chemical in bananas acts as an attractant), breath heavier and the extra heat+CO2, the little monster's radar will seek you out.

We3D26892ynot only the mosquitos, but also I'm apparently a magnet to ticks too. I get 20+ each year...

Root797772yFat people breathe harder, expelling more CO2, which is what the little buggers use to find prey from a distance. Up close they’re attracted to heat, and fat/sweaty people tend to be hotter. Thus: more mosquitos!

@MammaNeedHummus
so many women are like "ewww, I'm sweaty and feel gross!" and have no clue how many guys like that.
I'm CONVINCED mosquitos target sweaty people
