Still harder that what they have in the USA: "drive around the block and don't shoot anybody"
-
@netikras ofc I did... the test was so easy so anyone with more than 2 braincells could do it.
-
They don't test you on the street?
If you brake correctly, look around correctly, if you can park parallel, if you have the correct distance to the vehicle before you, if you place you car correctly when waiting before a red light (when you go strait while you can go strait or left, when you go right while you can only go right, when you go right where you can go left or right, ....), if you refuse to drive where you not allowed to drive (tester says you should go right but you are not allowed, so you have to say you can't go there to pass the test), if you set the blinking light correctly, if you watch out for bicycles, if you can follow signpost to a location, if you can do a emergency break, ... ? -
@electrineer Shooting is allowed when the car doesn't move. You fail the test when you don't shoot.
-
@happygimp0 Nope none of that .. I wasn't even controlling the clutch brake and accelerator.
My driving instructor was doing that for me. I only handled the steering wheel. -
In Spain, if the instructor ever touches the pedals during your test, you automatically fail...
-
I have a feeling Germany tortured me with a really hard exam in comparison to this.
-
@Nanos
It would be fine because you are a man, and sexual harassment, according to our politicians, can only happen to women. 🙃 -
@Nanos This is why you start learning on a parking lot, with a instructor that can react when you do something really stupid. But that isn't the test.
When you are tested, you should be tested on the road because that is where you will have to drive.
P.S. Can you please use units that we can understand? I am not a caveman. -
@electrineer The size of a feet between different humans varies a very large amount, just under adults, more than factor 5. And why do we spend billions to have units that have a very precise definition, are convenient and are use everywhere? Some people go back to the stone age whit units that have multiple different definitions, have factors like 1780 between the next bigger unit in their system, and aren't used everywhere?

I completed my driving test today. You're gonna want to read this whole thing about how it went.
I have attached a pic which highlights what you have to do in the car, to the pass the test.
And as if that wasn't easy enough already, my driving instructor sat beside me in the practice car where he had his own foot controls, handled it.
I swear I just sat in the driving seat with my foot doing nothing and my hands controlling the steering wheel. The test took a total of 45 seconds to complete.
I'm a little weirded out ngl.
