I'm tired after reinventing the wheel for a decade. I wrote Delphi, Java, C#, VB6 and PHP professionally but everything is so changed - I can scrap (but i won't...) almost everything from my resume. Delphi was the worst of all. Couldn't keep in mind. Only reason that the fucker lasted so long is that Pascal once was free and many people got used to that nazi language.

Now i'm a Python programmer. It's SO fucking boring... I'm stuck. All fun stuff is made by someone else.

C# on Linux, that's something I would be interested in. My poker game simulator in C# was just 3 times slower than the C++ version. Coding time of the projects didn't differ that much. (Wanted to become a professional poker player and quit working. I'm good thanks to the projects. Virtually i made a lot. But there's a serious lack when you can play poker for money in NL)

A C job is the dream, but yh... Keep dreaming.

I’ve been doing it for decades, using C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, C#, Objective-C, Swift and Kotlin.

And still I think that the language and the framework matters.
Of course you can do everything using everything, but the developer experience is one of the most important things for me.

I had a five week course in Haskell year 2001, but that doesn't mean I have 22 years of experience with the language.
