Build a mockup and sell him support hours to make it function "properly". Because fuck cheap ass clients.

Is hourly rate a thing? I thought people charged per project.

@GodHatesMe Honestly, it depends on your skill level and area of expertise. I live in a country where a good programmer would charge about $20+ per hour.

@620hun In my country it is more common to charge per hour. IMO πŸ˜€

@ClemFrieckie Just a small edit in code. Of course the job took longer, but the client wanted to save money so he wanted all to be done in a fraction of an hour. xD

@DZetko that's cool, I charge per hour or part there of, so 20min or 60min still costs the same,i don't a fuck bill by the minute.

    Let hourlyRate = $20
That is why you should say “\(hourlyRate) per hour for a minimum of 4 hours”
So if you do it in 20 mins he still has to pay for a minimum of 4 hours

@RTRMS Same here. That's why he was out of luck with his 20 minutes only...πŸ˜‚

Tip: charge client for consultation giving them few free hours upfront. Saved me a lot of my time.
