Question about the weekly rant!

Does anyone have any topics they think would work well? We're trying to come up with some creative ideas and figure out what devRanters might enjoy the most.

Any feedback is appreciated on the weekly rant feature and possible topics. Thanks!

Some sample topics:

-Post some of your best work
-what would you like to see in the app?
-interview horror stories
-places to get free resources (images, audio, video, etc)
-what your family thinks of your computing profession

I'm making them up on the spot so they may not be the best ideas, but hey, it takes a spark to burn down a forest.

We were thinking about something around your projects/IDE of choice, like maybe post a picture of your IDE with some recent code in it that you're proud of, and maybe give a short description of it.

I had a great idea for this the other day. Can't remember it for the life of me. I'd say stay away from 'this or that' questions. To me that won't spark many interesting stories

- The weirdest thing that happened when meeting a client
- The weirdest feature request from a client
- The stupidest git conflict you had to face
- Backaches
- Freelancing war stories

My two cents:

- worst (stupidest) question from your boss
- worst (stupidest) request from a client
- worst facepalm tech-support story
- best shameless hack/workaround story

coolest commit message
fastest time on a project (actual hrs / est hrs)
coolest awards / recognitions you got from your company

most misused tech words and phrases.
most impossible task given to you.
weirdest parts of a language.
