Customer: Do you have a 2GB RAM stick?

Me: Yes, we do. Do you know what you have and what you need?

Customer: Yes, I have a one-zero-two-four M-B stick and a two-zero-four-eight M-B stick.

Me: So... a 10-24 Meg stick and a 20-48 Meg stick

Customer: Yes.

Me: Ok.... and do you know if it's going to be DDR2 or...?

Customer: Yes, DDR2.

Me: Okay, yes, we do have some. And will you want us to install it?

Customer: No. I can install it. I've been putting computers together for 30 years, so I think I can do it.

I mean, yeah the specs are low, but everything he said are sane values. Why doesn't he use newegg though? No ffensse to your shop🤗

The thing is, no computer person spells out "one-zero-two-four M-B;" they say "one Gig." They would have also said "I need 2GB of DDR2 RAM. Do you have any?" instead of wading through bullshit that I don't care about.

In the end they did buy it online because of the markup we put on our products, though. The only reason why they would have purchased it would be to get it same day.

@RiderExMachina it seems like from your rant that he was just reading it out, and had bad eyesight. I do trust people that are competent enough to find out how much RAM they have to install some.
