@lungdart You open this fuck's profile and all he posts about is what we are doing this/that weekend like he's some kind of authority on us.

And now he's said he goes to the gym to cure boredom. Which is like the shittiest attitude towards the gym. I take these things very seriously because I've been going for 8 years and counting. It's a lot more serious place and deserves people who are actually serious about their health and not just people who are bored.

I would've only said fuck off but what he has said about the gym, that has legit pissed me off.

@jestdotty why you suddenly jumping in?
You weren't even in the conversation.

    All hail the narcissistic-lord.

@jestdotty if u can't handle people firing back at you, its a good idea to not jump in where you're not supposed to be.

@SidTheITGuy you are not your thoughts, as the Buddhists say?

Thoughts are like shoes. You can put them on, feel them out. You might want to change to a different pair later. Oh wow someone called your shoes ugly, or big, or excessive, or raggedy. Wonder what you can do with that?! Do you even want them to like your shoes? What if you use blocks of wood for shoes?! Makes you work out your thighs, actually, I bet!

@retoor Reminds me of short friend (girl) i used to have. She looks at me as she is looking at a skyscraper.

So the usual weekend devouring thing is done?

@lungdart That poor guy was sort of going through something. First i thought it was existential dread.

Seems like majority of people are like this in the north side of the country because of the quality of life is so low

How is your gym life going? I changed my program recently and it’s going nicely, but proper dieting is also a bit harder to do than I thought.

My current best is 20 kgs weighted chin ups, overhead press 37.5, and chest press 62.5. For my height, apparently they are all an intermediate level so I’m quite content. Not sure if I can get to advanced, but I’m trying.

@ars1 Bold of you to assume this fuck's got a gym life. He literally uses the gym because he's bored. Probably can't even lift a 10kg plate.

Also, 37.5 KG overhead press and 20KG weighted chinups ?? Sheesh, that's awesome. Compared to that, you should have a higher chest press though, if that's a smith machine ur using. On the smith machine I have gone up to 75 KGs. Can't risk it freehand.

@msdsk kill yourself myself? I didn't quite get that. Who do you want to unalive?

@SidTheITGuy it’s all free weight, no smith machine or anything. Not sure how many kilos it would add if I use one, but I remember a big difference in my shoulder workout when I switched from smith to overhead press. I was scared of the free weight at first but power racks and a shit ton of videos and recording myself have helped immensely.
Those reps are all 5~8, since I don’t really do single reps.
I’ve been focusing on legs and core lately, which are my weakest by far, stuck at beginner level but steadily pushing onwards.

@ars1 you stole my words. I changed my routine 2 days ago and it now involves way more legs and cardio.
  • 0
@SidTheITGuy exactly that. An hero all the way into oblivion. It will happen anyway so why should I delay, not like there's anything worthwhile here

@msdsk hey man, lets not go about killing anyone, shall we?

I admit that sandeepbalan deserves lashes on his ass, but killing them is a bit too much, isn't it
