It's a shame that Adobe doesn't support Linux for their creative suit. I know lots of artists and designers that don't use Linux regularly because of this, since Photoshop and illustrator are the de facto tools for their work. Adobe xd seems to be awesome, but I can't use on my pc due the lack of support -.-

    This is actually one of the primary reasons why I made the jump to a hackintosh. Gives me a Unix command line, escape from Windows, and let's me use the Adobe product suite without shelling out thousands for a macbook.

    Yep. If not, I would be dual booting two Linux distros 🤔

    The bigger shame is that so many people reply on Adobe products for their livelyhood. I would be depressed if my skills were dependant on closed source software that I can't even own but need a subscription for.

    @th31 Most would pay, if they wouldnt charge that high to be honest. But now even adobe experience design sets you back at 10$ per month for ONLY Adobe Experience Design.

    I'm actually very sad Adobe XD is not a free beta anymore, can't find decent UI/UX software next to XD and Sketch...

    @joostdelange I feel sorry for you, I dont know any way to make it work on OSX yet, though you got sketch and its easily downloadable.

    @JoshBent That's okay! In the end I'm a backend developer, not a UI/UX designer. I just like to play with design apps and I can find inspiration in them

    @joostdelange www.figma.com is decent and lets you pair design à la google docs style. It's a plattform independent online tool. My windows fanatics design colleagues love it since there is no sketch for them.

    @th31 that's one of my fears... Adobe has only to come out with a new AI automation software suite and millions of prepresss printshop workers wouldn't be needed anymore.

    @JFK422 I saw that, and it's not good enough for artists and designers. Even some devs have issues running wine :/
