Why can’t i permanently turn off Bluetooth on an iPad? I swipe down, tap ‘Bluetooth’ and instead of turning it off permanently like any sane design decision (as in, how Android does it) it decides to only turn it off for a day? Why??? Who wants that??16

Dear Work, I'm a grown-up and should be allowed to set my own freaking homepage to something useful rather than the crappy company portal that I never use. Love Me xoxo1

When Google (or other companies) make AI that makes another AI or code does the original AI write comments?4

For April Fools at a school I worked for, I printed off one of those "Your printer has been upgraded to be voice activated" signs and put it on their fairly new printer, went into the room opposite and waited. I heard far far too many teachers saying "Copy!" repeatedly, getting more and more agitated before 'manually' copying their document. I had to come clean before I left at lunch time because one of the teachers got quite angry at the prospect of a voice activated photocopier and refused to use it that way. The following year April Fools was on a school holiday so I couldn't pull it in the school I was in that day but i fully expect it to work somewhere else.3

!rant - Thanks to whoever it was who reminded me of the DevRant Spotify Playlist. I had some epic tuneage to start work with this morning. I'm loving some Black Stone Cherry (I don't have to wait for them to come on Planet Rock). (Also, Grammarly recognised the word 'Tuneage'.6

At college (UK) and taking a general IT course (databases, programming, networking) a friend suggested "We should make our own network protocol." (The only language we had covered at the time was Visual Basic)4
