I've been regrowing cuttings from the boss' devils ivy

So I didn't realise till I was helping a colleague debug but his build take 3 minutes for every tiny change.

Working on modifying a legacy web project and just about every single element is `position: absolute` with crazy z-index juggling and hard-coded pixel sizes and positions everywhere 😭

To make it even worse, a bunch of the javascript will also change elements sizes and positions so it takes forever to track down why an element is where it is

WTF kind of stupid online form can only be used from 7PM to 7AM or anytime Sunday?!?

Why do javascript dates have to be so shitty?

Can anyone explain why 'Feb 18, 1977' is in the local timezone but '1977-02-18' is UTC?

Told the new hire that for the first week they can just familiarise themselves with the JS framework, do the tutorials, and read through the code / docs.

Boss comes by Tuesday morning "you should be finished with all the tutorials by the end of the day"
