@jespersh your first wish will never come true. It is the crew's responsibility to calm down the passengers in an emergency. They shouldn't ask the passengers whether there is a pilot onboard unless all crews died.

@Gerrymandered Start the engines, align your plane to centerline, and push that damn throttle to 100.
After it reached V1, pull the H thingy or joystick (airbus). If you are sure that you are in the air,
get your landing gears up, go to crusing altitude, turn autopilot, and eat your inflight meal.
