2. devBanner stuffs
So, how it all started is when I wanted to create my own logo. Some people will remember it. The one with arrows and cozyplales written on it. Then, I created my own banner with Krita (their text tool sucked). After that, due to some suggestions by the community, I decided to create a collab. From then, many people contributed to the devBanner project. Special thanks to @Kimmax for his awesome prototype of the frontend made during I was sleeping.
Now, before I talk more, I want to talk something. I don't post a rant about my collab cuz i want to get upvotes. I just want more people to use this simple creation software. You can literally use them anywhere, and it is FOSS.
Well....
If you want to create again, you can do so at https://devbanner.center
If you want to contribute, please do so by visiting https://github.com/devBanner
We are looking for a skilled frontend dev who can do the basic web stuffs. (we don't use frameworks currently for our frontend)
---------------------
Thanks everyone for making 2017 awesome. Can't wait to welcome 2018. Happy new year everyone, and I will drop my banner here.

Close all IDEs.
Then...
if (needs_music) {
open.production("fl_studio");
} else if (needs_engine_roar) {
open.game("fsx");
} else {
open.systemapp("Task Manager");
kill.all("processes");
computer.shutdown(5000);

Losing 1 hour everytime I must name a class that create something.

What a stupid idea to approach like that....
I was planning a crosswind landing, but I was too high, forgot how to extend the flaps, and for some reason the left landing gear wan't extended.

"Web" Teacher wanted us to learn horribly outdated html in the middle of web2.0 wave.
HTML5 ? CSS3 ? nope.
No CSS at all, and longest part of the class was on the importance of prehistoric HTML doctypes.
Capitalized tags, tables, BGCOLOR attributes...
Like she scrapped everything on W3schools...1 -
I was working yesterday, writing a calculus with sql.
My very great user explained to me the math in Excel. I first though to myself, piece of cake, i got it.
Then I started typing and at the end of the day i had 6 temp tables which at some point need to join with themselves. It was just hilarious. each table had at least 4 millions rows.
Then I started a new query just for validating the output of me very ugly previous queries.
And I fucking found a easier way to get the same output with 3 joins of 3 different tables and a count at the end.
When you love yourself. but hate yourself at the same time.
xD it was a very productive Friday night2 -

I've been trying to query some data from an 18 GB xml DB through BaseX for about 9 hours without success.
Just wondered how LinQ would work with the same xml info. Just got the info I needed in less than 15 minutes.
God bless LinQ.5 -
has anybody made the joke about 31th October and 25th December yet?
Well, my ex boss just ask me, why do developers always get confused with 31 oct and 25 dec?
when I figured out what the hell was she talking about, i laughed and cried.
31oct == 25Dec4 -
So i have some SQL skills. and I ended up some shitty business reports .
My boss will to implement something she read on internet (scrum).
I recommended her to manage her expectations. IMHO After implementing scrum, no shit is gonna change and obviously I was ignored and treated as a negative thinking being
Do you guys think this could work? Since we're a 4 people team and each one of us have different and non related activities10 -
So as an avgeek(aviation geek) I open my secondary laptop and fly a bit with fsx(Microsoft flight simulator x).I also watch tons of airline trip reports on YouTube.I also play a game called SimplePlanes.I can create vehicles using various parts and test them in free flight and missions.

Drying Process: We’ll disassemble the device, remove any excess water, and let the internal components dry properly. This crucial step helps prevent corrosion and other issues caused by prolonged exposure to water.
Cleaning and Repair: Once the device is dry, we clean the internal components to remove any moisture or contaminants that may have accumulated. If necessary, we replace any damaged parts, such as screens, batteries, or connectors, to restore full functionality.
Testing: After the repairs are made, we test the device thoroughly. We check for any remaining issues with the touch screen, camera, speaker, charging port, and other functions to ensure everything is working as it should.
Final Review: Once we’ve completed the repair and testing, we’ll call you to let you know your device is ready to pick up. We’re committed to delivering a fully functional phone that’s ready to go.
