Need mobility then laptop else desktop! Personally prefer desktop as I can keep upgrading it forever :-D

@rozzzly
obviously the solution is to have auxiliary monitors at your primary work/battlestation(s) -
rozzzly16718y@crystalclear
Well you're automatically are going to have asymmetrical screens which is meh.
And also, you can only add one extra monitor, which might result in some degradation. ...unless you spend 2k+ on a laptop with a dedicated graphics card that can do multiple outputs. But at that point, you're probably already keeping your toaster oven plugged in on your desk.
Don't get me wrong, laptops are awesome, and attaching another monitor/tv is convenient. But it's certainly not my preference -
Desktop for gaming
Laptop with dock, mechanical keyboard and multiple monitors for work -
Redders9578y@rozzzly works fine for me with two 27" monitors, sure, the laptop wasn't cheap, but I earn my living with this thing, and really, it would suck to have to duplicate my setup and sync config files, never being able to just close the lid without committing and pushing, or risk having work out of sync.
