It's been there a while but since it's hash based it only sees EXACT matches.

but can you write a better @AlgoRythm ?

@balte It's an Al Gore Rhythm

I would bitch about this, but it's a community that will actively call out any AI-based fuckery if they even suspect there is some going on -- at least I'd hope. As long as they don't stoop to Google's level, I don't give a fuck.

As for features I DO give a shit about, it would be awesome if @trogus and @dfox added markdown support - keep the editor the same, but provide clean in-text formatting. Y'know, like GitHub and Discord both already do? (Discord isn't even a dev thing!!!!)

They just keep it getting better and better...
    Needs much love...

@balte An actual solution could be a proprietary photo format which needs to be signed by the creator or a source link.

I hear propietary and I'm skeptical. it's all about adoption, boys and girls...

    one could perhaps utilize opencv.

@Dacexi nope, it uses an algorithm that produces similar hashes for similar images.

@rangler oh? Is this new? I remember being able to trick the old system my resizing the image 1px.

@Dacexi should there or is there a time limit, as in you can reupload an image if it has been 30 days since last upload?
  • 2
@eArshdeep yeah there's a time limit but I think there shouldn't be. Reposting is bad 👎
