After being in China for one week,I realized how much I actually use Google during the day.don't know how they do this but even using a VPN is not a solution most of the times :-? At least devRant is not blocked here;)

    I literally can't o,agoma what it must have been like to live 20 years ago;

    Imagine, I wonder how tall obama is.... time to go to the library and look though the index of an encyclopedia.

    The concept of not knowing the answer to my stupid questions instantly is incomprehensible.

    well, they block VPNs and all VPN related search results on baidu. but believe it or not, bing actually works in china, although it is crap compared to google.

    I am a dev in China, sadly it's true about blocking Google. Bing works but not as good as Google. But believe it or not, most senior devs in China use Google(and StackOverflow) everyday. VPN is a must-have tool for us.

    BBC Click had a story in connecting from China. Also glad China realizes they better not block devRant 😀

    If you have an SSH server set up, SSH into it with the gui flag set and run the browser on that server.

    @c3ypt1c Tor is so famous, it probably doesn't work

    @c3ypt1c They block all Tor end nodes. Even if you could connect, there are so little nodes in Asia that the speed is shit
