The molodetz cloud would survive such thing since the server is a laptop having a battery and the modem is a 4g phone with a battery. Much wow. Much pro. On top I have three the same laptops I can work on with good battery. I can survive any outage.

Have had a few of those in my new apartment.

I am seriously considering to finally get a UPS just so I don't lose data or worse, fuck up a devkit due to a power outage.

For data - sure;

There is a very concerning component of fucking up a devkit thanks to failed firmware update, though, thus the UPS seems like a very good idea.
