Dear diary,

Today with my dad at AI expo, and it was the best person to go with. He has learnt reinforcement learning and ocr. Never enjoyed a museum together that much. There were also steam engines and minecraft carts and elevator.

Did you know that the car years ago was considered dangerous bevause you didn't have a horse to protect you from mistakes? In horses we trust, nit in Tesla.

It was a great day.

Oh, it's easy to get there for belgium and Germany, it's in Kerkrade. Translated everywhere to swampgerman.

Sounds like you've had a nice day.

    I'm glad.

    Also, that's a sexy computer.

    I only owned Commodore 64.

    ò.-

Great to hear about your great and sunny day.

Look at this beauty of a computer. It brings back memories of the classics.

Thank you for the information about cars and horses. It seems strange as a horse is an animal, a biological lifeform that is more prone to errors (and fatigue). It sounds a bit like underdeterminism because you would wonder people would trust in technology more, so there may be tied contemporary politics.

@CaptainRant yea my daddy used to play sonic on those iirc

@CaptainRant they were actually scared for too much control of the horse, scared to make accidents because of that. They actually liked the 'self riding horses'. They were trusted completely. Also, the change of a horse smashing into a bicycle in a city is smaller than a Tesla i think.

@antigermgerm Glad you enjoyed the visit.

@retoor How much time changes, how much they stay the same 😅

The museum looks cool though, definitely on my places to visit, I'm sure mom will love it

@CaptainRant if you were really drunk you could lay down on your horse and it... automatically drove you home

    man talk about paradise

strangely they charged people driving under the influence (with the horse) even though it was fine...

animals are the best. they had your interests in mind. technology on the other hand... is like a Trojan horse, and intended as such

@jestdotty ò.ó Relleh dronk, innit. Wait lol.. this reminds me of when PewDiePie played Goat Simulator. Lmao!

Yeah, paradise is where horses drive you home. Fuck.

    Interesting.. horse control.. lol.

An interesting philosophical question. What I learned in college is the.. ah what's it called.. there was a word for it. Utility vs. Intention, where intention is important and deciding. Are guns inherently evil? It depends on two things: 1) What they were designed for 2) The intent of use when in use. Was technology intended for misuse? I think that's more humans using it with the wrong intentions, although the intent and design of the software itself is questionable.

@CaptainRant hmmm I don't know if intent is a good judgement

I think evil takes good intentions and perverts them, and similarly people on their way down to hell see bad intentions in innocuous situations which then has evil downstream effects

@jestdotty That's what I see business people do all the time, sadly.
