    this is where you keep the IP rights and sell it to every restaurant in town and beyond as a subscription model for 5$ a month and multiply it by thousands of restaurants if not all in all the countries that speak that specific language and then add new languages after that

    Noise filtered STT, fixed( mounted on table) preconfigured device, bulk order and reordering, dual print is just destinations to printout at!

    Likely better to wire into existing order handling aka digital order collection system used by waiter is a good start!

    @jestdotty $5 a month? You can easily get $200 a month for with a $50 starter plan with limited number of orders and an enterprise plan negotiated case by case. That’s why b2b is so much more worth it.

    Madness. That setup where you scan the qr code on the table and order and pay without having to talk to anyone is the way to go.

    @donkulator But what about the cute waitress? But in NL they sorted that type of ordering ages ago, there is just a wall with pre-made meals, and you pay and take it out.

    Will make it with n8n and Odoo just for fun, this seems like a nice hobby project.

    @Tounai @jestdotty you guys are both right. Still, even with such nice product, it won't be easy to enter that market. They're already have battle proof systems where they did invest in.

    Btw, speech to text with noise is not a problem. Even better, add menu card to AI and let AI format the order to fix mistakes. The Google speech recognition is very good. From Chatgpt too, but I do not know if they offer that quality on API.

    Speech to text with noise is not a problem.

    Speech to text with a bunch of overlapping voices is a massive issue, believe me.

    @Tounai well sure

    I'm not greedy but if you wanna be an enterprise instead of just solo retire you can do the whole corporate bullshit

    @donkulator and then they default ask you for 30% tip at checkout still tehe

    Typical brainless client. "If I managed to do it, I would definitely start a business myself rather than handing it over to you, dumbass."

    I know the experience. There are clients out there who talked about making facebook clone or uber clone.

    @Tounai honda worked on that ages ago with asimo. The basic idea is source Localisation in 3d space and then process each one after another!
