an 18 year old youtube multimillionaire known as McSkillet lost $200,000 on csgo skins and $700,000 gambling and trading csgo skins so he fell into depression. he took his $265,500 McLaren supercar and ran into the highway in opposite direction to commit suicide, but in doing so he also killed a mom and a 12 year old girl from the car collision explosion.

life is very hard to be an 18 year old teenage millionaire, better commit suicide instead.

how do you guys feel about this?

    Dude's a pile of shit.

Killing yourself is one thing, but taking others with you? Fucking cunt.

    I wish that were me

If you cant cope with your life anymore, that sucks. If you wanna end your life over it, that sucks even more, but it's your decision after all.
But for fucks sake, its YOUR decision and yours alone! No need to drag other people into this.

Similar thing with people who commit suicide by jumping from a highway overpass or infront of a train. It gets the job done, but you traumatize a (train)driver who didnt have anything to do with your life in the process. (And piss off a couple hundred commuters who are gonna be late for work)

Despite how much i hate him for killing other people, I don't know if I would go whole "fuck him". While I'm totally with you that that's the worst way to end your life (taking somebody else, especially that young, with you), I don't know if he doesn't have some other mental problems as well and might not even realized others could die as well. I'm really torn on judging him, but I definitely feel angry about him taking others with him.

    It's murder. Plain and simple.

@gathurian unless you are an train conductor and the train driver is the one that made your life hell. Than he/she has a lot to do with your life.
Although that still doesnt give you the right to jump in front of a train.

@gitreflog is it worse to kill a 12 year old than to kill a 60 year old?

    @gitreflog
Killing someone else = fuck that selfish guy.

Makes me think of the German pilot who crashed an entire plane full of people to commit suicide.

Never underestimate the destructive power of depression.

I've known his cs go videos from my 6 years playing cs go myself. In a discussion where I heavily critisized him his real character shined through.

Son of a bitch. Burn in hell.
  • 0
@bahua It only amplified his already bad character.

Sorry, but that comes from someone experienced with the scene.

I wasn't excusing his behavior. I was just saying that materialistic success has nothing to do with happiness, and the real problem, depression, is still largely unacknowledged as a legitimate condition. It accounts for most suicides. Depression is treatable, and suicide is preventable. If we keep turning our noses up at people for their narcissistic behavior stemming from chronic depression, we will keep hearing stories like this.

Murderer that gave himself the death penalty.

May he find no peace in death.

@Alice Apparently he also got banned from dealing CS:GO skins anymore... Maybe he was just unstable. Shady businesses come from shady people.

Im going to be a devils advocate for a minute since more people need to take responsibility for what happened since they started the chain of events.

Fcking steam. They banned his account worth of 100k usd. They are responsible for a big chunk of what happened here, I say something needs to be done.

Fcking youtube as well. They demonetized his videos just because it had a word weapon included.

Imagine if you build your life, get a house a car and everything gets taken away from you?

Also I couldnt confirm this gambling and loosing 700k usd, that one seems made up.

@zemaitis any idea of the reason of the ban? And what kind of ban it was? VAC bans are nothing for small streamers let alone big ones, you can still trade so you make a new account.
When its a complete steam ban than you have yourself to blame for sure, 10 years on steam encountered so many people with different ban types but never have I ever heard of a complete steam ban. A trading ban is temporarily unless you keep committing fraud time after time after time.

@zemaitis youtube offers people a platform to make money with but you need to follow some rules because otherwise advertisers wont advertise on youtube and nobody gets profit from it.

And then there is also other types of monetizing on youtube. The biggest channels I know mainly get their money from their own found sponsors, think of LinusTechTips for example. They make money with floatplane, sponsors for ads in front and in the end of the video and a few other things.

Everyone should know that you shouldnt go all in on black (to stay in gambling terms). One water source could dry up so you need to have a backup.

@zemaitis and even if everything goes wrong, thats still no reason to kill yourself like this.
  • 0
@Codex404 Yes I am aware of the fact that no matter the condition, you shouldnt kill others and etc.

As for STEAM the biggest issue was new policies. Imagine making money for 1-2 years and then all of a suden because of new policies you get a ban :)

Same goes for youtube. They impose new policies and don't have a constructive way to deal with people whom these policies will affect.

Youtube is no longer just a platform where you upload videos just for fun. For many people it became a fulltime job and a career.

Moral of story for steam and youtube - they shouldn't force new policies so abruptly without taking human factor into account. Else you will hurt people (especially mentally weak people) and outcome will be as in this post..

@zemaitis suddenly? all their policy changes take at least 30 days after publishing. And Im curious what he did that violated the policies, you seem to know everything about it but answering my questions is a bit difficult?

@Codex404 Why you are making drama? I just said my opinion based on what I managed to find in internet. Just google about this and assemble the puzzle. I am not wasting not even a second of my life on speaking about this especially with you. Get a life or something, idk.
  • 0
@zemaitis Im making drama? Im asking critical questions that dont get answered. It seemd that you knew a lot about it because youve done research. But if you wont discuss it with me maybe I can use someone else to ask questions for me?
    Who will you talk to?

18... That's just à kid, that's not an excuse at all for what he did, but I really thing there is something wrong letting a kid earning/managing so much money and spending that much on useless things and sports cars... Thats not the kind of thing a kid should do...

@Codex404 F#^#^# off with your rhetoric
  • 0
@zemaitis Im really wondering what Ive done wrong to you.
