Got a friend request on Facebook and it reminded me of xkcd #624.

I hope they're at least using git-lfs.

    Link to repo please _/\_ for educational purposes 😋

    @-ANGRY-CLIENT-, @SukMikeHok: You'll have to ‘conduct’ your ‘research’ elsewhere, my lustful bois. Facebook isn't a place for these sort of needs, much less devRant.

    @7400 but it is a place for sharing "code repositories" 😜

    @Condor: I wonder if that video triggered a notification for someone administrating the GitHub Facebook page. It linked to some goo.gl shortened URL and I didn't really want to go deeper here (no pun intended).

    @7400 that link from their bio by any chance? I checked it out real quick (with JS disabled and using VPN of course, although I maybe should've used curl) and it seems to lead to some 18+ Tinder clone. So disappointing, I wanted to git clone some sauce 😔
    Would be quite interesting actually if that Facebook post is the same link, as that'd mean that arbitrary links can be posted under the banner of GitHub.

    Try the new GitHub for lesbians, you say? 😮

    @Condor: I knew I'd forget to censor something 😕

    @7400 😜

    On second thought after some research, I couldn't find anything about sharing a post of publishing an object on GitHub. But from experience I know that only the Graph app ID is unique, while app names can be copied over. So it could be an app that only pretends to be GitHub.

    @Condor: But, … why?

    @7400 that's the real question.. why GitHub? They could've used any name, PornHub, Xhamster or.. well, anything they wanted to. Maybe they're targeting developers in particular? I mean, it sure did catch my curiosity to see that something like that would be on GitHub, much more than average post doing the same but using a more classic approach, where I usually just report and move on. Maybe that's what they're going for?

    There's a lot of forking happening on Github. And I mean A LOT.
    I'm not even shocked.

    @Condor: Probably just randomness.

    I will be more concerned if He did not use git "pull" lol

    I think it's kinda funny that it says "1 std" at the top left part of the post. Seems to fit the content of the page

    The link apparently logs in with Facebook.. perhaps it was for the best that you've mostly hidden it. Changing my password now.. I'm surprised though, 2FA should've taken care of something like this? 🤔

    Got another one, this time sharing an “object on Bing” and FOX. Looks like they have a list of popular websites and pick them at random.
