I'm pretty sad that my favorite language Haskell was "designed by committee" ages ago, although I'm a fan of Simon Peyton Jones who is one of the major contributors to the modern Haskell compilers.

@irene I like JavaScript. Recently all the scripts I have been are in node. I like the fact that I don't need to deal with multi-threaded programming. It easily compares to few hundred threads in parallelism due to fact that most of the time threads are actually waiting. Not talking about games or environment where threads/processes are required for performance. I usually need to make API/db calls and some processing on it.
