Top bullshit message I have ever received would probably be:
'I wasn't asking 🙂'.
The fuck is this shit?
Are you trying to reprimand me, as indicated by the first part of the message, or be my fucking friend?
Best part - the message was sent by someone who had no authority to demand anything from me at the time, which I had to point out to the guy.

I would assume just passive aggression between co workers

had a boss give me those smileys. got triggered by them after for a few months after the job lol

@jestdotty The guy clearly tried telling me 'Do it', but appearing polite about it.

Since I was assigned to another project, my time belonged to another PM, as such I told the guy that either he procures the permission of my direct supervisor or I'm doing nothing for him.

This might've been the original message that made me hate emoji, though.

At least it has a happy twist ending, but why these people put those emojis on an order I can't understand

@BordedDev Haha my vision's 20/20 for bugs at least! Got any code need fixing?
  • 1
@BordedDev Yup, I don't get it, either. The idea is probably to appear sympathetic / non-threatening / 'my soft skillzzz are superb', but in the end, I'd say it has the opposite effect of just pissing people off.

@D-4got10-01 Yeah, if you're going to be an ass at least be a whole ass and own it
