About week ago I finally upgraded to ios 12 and I really like screen time reporting. It forces me to spend less time using phone.

It lacks features like listening to music or books time, probably because it only measure screen time. Besides that it’s cool.

    @Alice maybe, maybe not 🙃

you can see how much time your spend on each app?

@calmyourtities yes You can, also divided by categories, pickups per hour / day notification number per hour / day.

Edit: It’s also possible to add some limits per category bud didn’t tested that one.

@vane what did you mean it lacks features then?

@calmyourtities you probably have your screen off when you just listen

@calmyourtities ex I want to know how long I listen to music or audiobooks. I use storytel and apple music and I don’t see that kind of usage. I more often use my phone to audio then to look at it.
Probably talk time is also missing.

(Use phone for audio seems like it’s not being created for this anymore 😂)

    It’s only screen light time.

    I expected more then this.
    Maybe also keyboard typing statistics.

I don’t read any of reviews or feature list of any ios I just use the device so maybe it’s out of scope of this app but it would be really nice to have all in one place.

@electrineer I got 4 top end android phones over years mostly latest xperia models, each of one got somehow physically broken or got stolen so I wanted to try something different as I got more money in my pocket this year.

I rooted android, built it from scratch.

I even worked for small company that is making android phones and got involved in process so I know everything about restrictions and shit like that ( from my perspective based on hardware manufacturer restrictions at that time and ability to use google play store android is no different but we can argue about it ).

When this one fall apart I would reconsider if it was worth the price.
    It’s just another tool 🙂

@vane yeah, you've got to pick your android device carefully to avoid the bad manufacturers like huawei who don't let you even unlock the bootloader

@electrineer fairly speaking I also assumed I paid for somehow tested apps and frequent os and security upgrades instead of hardware specs.

We got some serious cpu, bluetooth, wifi security leaks announced this year.

@vane oh you want to know how long the music is playing, not how long the music app is on the screen?
