How to recognize a Linux developer?

Ask him what Ctrl+C means.

    I've never really reflected on it before but does the C stand for Cancel in this context? I've used it a lot but never thought of what it actually meant...

    @molgamus well if you imagine "Ctrl" would stand as for Mac's "Command", then it could be a perfect match - "command cancel" ^^

    However, I think you woudn't like to cancel (your) control, ehm... :D

    Well there is also plenty of people using some magical Ctrl+F which I googled is replacement for '/'...

    Ctrl-C for copy is also found in desktop Linux.
    Ctrl-C for abort is also found in DOS and CP/M.

    Anyone remember the DEL key being the default intr key on Unix? :)
