— Java is too heavy on resources! And desktop apps made with it give you this fugly, custom GUI that doesn't blend with your OS's UI in any way!

    JavaFX is really easy and fast with FXML.

    Even tho it's dying, Adobe air was a great platform, I made a lot of cool useful programs before switching to c# it's a hell of a lot easier to make a pretty application in Air then any other I've used so far
